Going After Content Creators
As I’ve said before, there is zero reason for a content creator to go after other content creators, just my opinion. As a content creator myself, my main focus is the content. As far as cheating on an online multiplayer game, in this case, Call of Duty, Activision has had over a decade to heavily reduce the cheating but haven’t done so. Today, you can find people running hacks/cheats in every Call of Duty game with an active pvp component. Yet, Activision has shadow ban around 67% of player because they said something that triggered by voice tox-mod.
Going after content creators and trying to expose them based on assumption or an educated guess is pointless and solves nothing. Why? For over a decade, we’ve been screaming from the top of our lungs, posting on forums and any where imaginable, to get Activision attention and nothing has been done by choice.
You mean to tell me that for over a decade, a billion dollar company can’t secure it’s software nor go after those that develop the cheats? And yet, year after year, people cheat, people complain, nothing gets done and many continue to buy Call of Duty year in and year out just to bitch and complain about the same song. “He’s Cheating” hits number one in the top ten charts … again.
As much as I love playing Call of Duty or any FPS for that matter, I don’t have any brand loyalty. If I spend X amount on a video game, my information needs to be secure, like if it were in a Fort Knox vault. A content creator should focus on the content they are creating and let Activison sort out the security issues. They’ve had over a decade to figure it out and it amazes me that even with Ricochet, you still have “some” (not naming names), that still run hack software when playing an online multiplayer, specially speaking of CoD PvP.
Pro Tip: Want to see how quick things change? Real easy, quit buying and playing CoD. That goes for any game.
Point being, as a content creator myself, regardless if I make YouTube videos or type up opining gaming blogs or any other type of opinion blogs, I don’t need to attack someone on a video or live stream just to get the clicks and views. You can disagree all you want and that’s your right, however, I stand by what I said and that’s all their is to it. Understand what I mean, jelly been that can’t be seen? When I watch your content, I want to know about the product, what you think of the product, your opinion on what could be better, how are the controls, not about Tom, Dick or Harry running hacks, two boxing, reverse boosting or any other nonsense. Because honestly, I don’t care!
Note: My opinions are my own.
