Get Back to Bible Group is a KJV group. We use the King James Bible for this group.

In 1611, the King James Version Bible, also known as the Authorized King James Version, was published. Today, more than 400 years since its initial publication, the bestselling King James Version Bible continues to inspire, encourage, and strengthen people from all walks of life. The KJV is considered one of the most influential and beautiful works of The Word of God in the English language and continues to be the favorite translation for millions of Christians.

The King James Version (only) means that the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible is superior to all other translations of the Bible. by comparison, modern day bibles have removed, replaced or reworded words and/or verses. The King James Version has remain faithful for over 400 years. We are here to help, teach, learn, and apply the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We understand the KJV Holy Bible, as compiled in the 66 books of both the Old and New Testament, and excluding the Apocrypha, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative written Word of God. Furthermore, The KJV believes that we have the inspired, infallible, inerrant word of God preserved in the King James Version of the Bible for English-speaking people. The Holy Scriptures are Factual, Historical, Prophetical, Symbolic and True.

Many Christian organizations and websites will openly claim that the Bible is the word of God, but there are few that will take a stance on exactly which English Bible they are specifically talking about. The past century alone has spawned literally hundreds of newer and supposedly “better” English Bible translations. Each one of these new versions differs from each other greatly in translation and in content. This statement is proven by the presence of a copyright.

To legally earn a copyrighted status for any Bible, that translation must be individually unique and substantially different from any previously written versions of the same work. The all-important question is: “How can all of these modern translations be the inerrant and perfect word of God in English if they all say different things?” God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33). We believe that there has to be a standard (Psalm 12:6), and that the unwavering, timeless standard for the true word of God in English is the King James Version Bible”

What is the Authorized King James Version 1611? The King James Version (KJV), also the King James Bible (KJB) and the Authorized Version, which was commissioned in 1604 and published in 1611, by sponsorship of King James VI. In America we usually say KJV for the King James Version. In England, the Brits usually say AKJV for the Authorized King James Version. The 1611 KJV, AKJV, KJV, KJVA, it’s the same bible
