Load-outs Are no Longer Character Specific
I put around 57 hours into BF2042 of the time of this writing and I can, honestly, enjoy Battlefield 2042. As far as the specialist, each come with a different set of skills set. For instance, you have the dude with the grappling hook and you have a the Russian dude with a portable turret. However, no matter what class you use, you can equip your favorite lout-outs. In other words, load-outs are not character specific. You have more freedom to choose how you want to run a particular class in the most effective way. I like that idea, I can choose any character with a specific skill set and equip any type of load-out I see fit. You can try each character and see what you like, if it fits your play style or play them all.
Battlefield Need Permanent CQC Modes
Having said that, BF2042 lacks game modes, such as, Team Death Match, Domination, Free For all in CQC maps. Speaking of maps, there’s 13 in total, a small section of each map can be redesign for Close Quarter Combat (CQC) for TDM, DOM, Free For All, King of The Hill as its’ on game mode. The more options, the better. Game play is solid. Changing mods on the fly is a nice touch. You can change mods according to the situation you find your self in. A nice touch is Conquest and Brake Through PVE, good if you’re new want want to get a grip of how the game is played or just chill and have fun.
It’s Multiplayer Only
Is there a story mode? NO! BF 2042 is straight up PVP with PVE options. PVE includes, Conquest, Break through, Conquest 64 and Breakthrough 64. You even have a solo/co-op mode where all you do is play against NPC’s. It works really well and it’s fun. It’s also a good way to learn the mechanics if you’re bran new to Battlefield. You can also invite friends for co-op play. With time, I’m sure bugs will get ironed out, more maps and game modes will be added. As far as hacks/cheats, I never play public lobbies long enough to suspect someone is cheating on any level.
Game play is solid. Graphics are nice. I try to find something to hate or dislike immensely but no, not really. In short, it’s a simple, arcade PVP, FPS shooter and straight to the point. Bugs need to be ironed out and more game modes should be added for diversity. Are there things I dislike, sure, tanks camping on capture points. Yeah, that’s it.

In My Opinion : Permanent traditional modes such as, TDM, Domination are needed as in past BF games as additional options to play. Solid Game Play. Solid Controls. PVE option is a plus but modes are limited. – The Social Pit
