FragPunk Version Update Announcement for April 25 - New Content for S1-Chapter 2
Dear Lancers:
FragPunk is scheduled for a maintenance update on April 25th at 10:00 AM (UTC+8), with an estimated downtime of about 3 hours. We are excited to bring you the new content included in this chapter update!
New Content
Lancer
Dex
A renowned lizardman sage skilled at scouting. Dex can use the skill "Cloning Incarnation" to create a clone of himself and fight in place of his true self, and even if the clone is killed, he himself can return to the battlefield. Dex can also place “Mimic Traps” to confuse enemies and use “Shield Scales” to withstand an enemy's attack once.
Map and Mode
New Deathmatch Map: Kepler Station - "Aesir"
The new map "Aesir" features a modern scientific research station located next to "Yggdrasil," built by Kepler in the Aesir Shard.
Available modes: Team Deathmatch - Standard, Team Deathmatch - Random, Kill Confirmed, Deck Deathmatch, Melee Deathmatch, Sniper Deathmatch, Rocketeers, One Shot, Headshot Only.
Limited-Time Mode:
Beginning May 9, there will be a new limited-time mode every two weeks:
The "Blitz Ballet" mode from the original Arcade Rotation Mode will return from May 9 to May 22.
The "Chaos Clash" mode from the original Arcade Rotation Mode will return from May 23 to June 5.
A new “Classic Clash” mode will be available from June 6 to June 19.

Arcade Rotation Iterations:
A new "Headshot Only" mode has been added, where all Lancers' heads become bigger and bullets only deal damage if they hit the head.
Arcade modes will now change daily, as follows:

Outbreak Mode Iterations:
In "Outbreak" mode, survivors and parasites will each have their own independent Shard Card slots, Shard Points, and card pool levels, with an upgraded card selection interface that includes key mapping.
The rules for assigning the initial parasites have been optimized, significantly reducing the probability of being selected by the system for two consecutive rounds, except when the player has increased the probability themself.
Spider will now be available for the Outbreak mode.
The speed of acquiring Shard Points has been adjusted.
If players use a skill during the preparation phase, they will no longer be allowed to change their selected Lancer.
Reduced the damage of the Parasites' "Parasitic Sludge" against Nitro's skill "The Wall."
Battle Rotation Iterations:
Battle Rotation has been renamed to Deathmatch, and the Glunite Grab mode has been renamed to Kill Confirmed.
In Deathmatch, players can charge melee weapons while sliding.
The value of Shard Points dropped from Treasures has been reduced from 1 to 0.8.
All Deathmatch modes with Shard Cards now start with all cards unlocked.
Tzab has been removed from the map pool of Team Deathmatch - Random and Glunite Grab, and Core has been removed from the map pool of Team Deathmatch - Standard.
The visual effects of the spawn site invisible walls have been optimized.
Map Training Mode Iterations
Added a new Lineup panel feature that allows players to edit location names and descriptions, and supports quick teleportation to specific locations.
Added a new feature to set hostile bots in place, with a limit of 5 bots.
Added a new feature to re-launch the last projectile fired.
Projectile perspective tracking has been adjusted to display through a small window, and a new feature has been added to show the projectile landing point in advance.
The target display method has been updated for more precise targeting.
The map practice mode wheel has been updated, theand new features are available through the wheel.
Added a new keybinding option to enable/disable lineups, allowing for custom key settings.
Fixed the issue where lineup heights varied between standing and crouching.
Shard Card
Shard Card Adjustments
A total of 67 new Shard Cards have been added to Shard Clash mode, while 25 have been removed. All Shard Cards now begin unlocked.
A total of 26 new Shard Cards have been added to Outbreak mode.
A total of 14 new Shard Cards have been added to Battle Rotation modes, while 4 have been removed.
A total of 17 new Shard Cards have been added to the Capture the Core and Deck Deathmatch modes of the Arcade Rotation.
A total of 18 new Shard Cards have been added to Treasures in the Melee Deathmatch, Sniper Deathmatch, and other modes of the Arcade Rotation.

Seasonal Battle Pass
The brand-new Battle Pass will launch on April 29th. The Premium Pass includes 2 Superb Lancer skins (Jaguar - Survival Expert and Hollowpoint - White Reaper), plus the rare Lancer skin bundle "Purple Flame." Additionally, there are 5 Superb weapon skins in the "Jungle Camo" line!
Invitational
The first FragPunk Global Invitational is coming soon! Participants in the event taking place in betting and viewing activities can recieve unique event rewards. Please stay tuned in early June as we witness the birth of the best PunkMaster together.

Lancers
1. Nitro
Chug-Chug
Added an alert when Nitro is attacked.
The Wall
Nitro can now destroy each part of The Wall independently by interacting with it.
Mr. Pew-Pew
Adjusted the hitbox of Mr. Pew-Pew, making it easier to hit.
2. Spider
Teleporter
Teleporter placement range has been adjusted to within 2 meters of Spider himself.
The teleportation portal can no longer be placed in locations where standing is not possible.
The portal's health has been reduced to 175.
After a friendly player uses a portal, other friendly players will now be unable to use it for 8 seconds.
Spirited Away
An indicator has been added to the teleport trap to make it easier to detect. It now also has a delay of 1 second upon landing before it begins to pull in enemies.
3. Pathojen
Killer Queen
This trap has had its size adjusted to make it easier to detect.
4. Jaguar
Live Wire
The hitbox of the skill gadget has been adjusted to make it easier to destroy.
Number of uses has been increased from 2 to 3.
5. Chum
Chomper
Chomper's attack interval has been adjusted to 1 second.
Explosive Bait
Adjusted the hitbox of the skill gadget to make it easier to destroy.
6. Corona
Fast Lane
Dash distance has been increased from 5 meters to 6 meters.
While dashing, Corona is immune to most de-buffs.
Ashes to Ashes
The damage reduction and movement speed increase effects will now last for 1.5 seconds after leaving the area of effect.
The sustained damage dealt by the area has been increased, with the damage interval reduced from 0.2 seconds to 0.1 seconds.
The damage reduction effect has been increased from 20% to 25%.
7. Broker
Goddard's Vengeance
High-explosive rockets can now be launched normally while dashing.
8. Hollowpoint
Meteora
Meteora no longer detects enemies within its field of view while aiming.
Smoke Screen
Cooldown time has been increased, and it is no longer possible to use this ability in quick succession.
9. Axon
Electric Guitar
The feel of firing and throwing sticky bombs has been optimized. Now, if the fire button is pressed during the throw, Axon will fire immediately after completing the throw.
Fixed an issue where using a charged knife dash and slide tackle simultaneously would significantly extend the slide tackle distance.
10. Zephyr
Midnight Rambler
Fixed an issue where, under certain special circumstances, weapon switching time was abnormal when exiting invisibility state.
11. Lancer Skins
Optimized the display effects of the Cyber Saint skin's Spirit Tail custom components.
Optimized the animation performance of the skill "Sticky Fingers" for Axon's Athletic Superstar skin.
Optimized the animation performance of punching without weapons for Corona's FrogPunk skin.
Fixed visual issues for several of Chum's skins while in first-person perspective.
Weapon
1.Utility Gun
Fixed an issue where the Blaster did not display its template when thrown directly below the character.
The Blaster has been given a Dual Fuse mechanism: if a collision occurs within 2.5 seconds after launch, it explodes at 2.5 seconds. If no collision occurs, it explodes immediately upon collision between 2.5 seconds and 3.5 seconds. If no collision happens at all, it explodes at 3.5 seconds.
Adjusted the tail effect of the Flasher's projectiles, making them less detectable.
Adjusted the feel of the jump throw for all utility guns. During the jump ascent, players can now perform jump throws more precisely.
2. Cold Shoulder
Damage from 0 to 20 meters has been adjusted from 23 to 26.
Damage from 20 to 60 meters has been adjusted from 20 to 22.
3.Discipline
Adjusted the reload animation for its empty magazine, increasing the bullet insertion time from 1.01 seconds to 1.35 seconds. The overall reload time remains unchanged.
4. Weapon Skins
Optimized and upgraded the visual effects and sound effects of the Cyber Saint skin's melee weapon Blitzer.
Fixed some visual performance issues with certain weapon skins.
The above is just a small part of the patch notes. The patch notes and changes are long. A lot of changes have been made to the maps, mainly concerning Search and Destroy (S&D). However, I've added the FragPunk link to the patch notes so you can read the rest for yourself.
FragPunk Patch Note and Changes
Personally, I don't care for the battle-pass, nor the sub model. Lancers sill run at a snail pace unless you equip the cheetah Shard Card and this only apply to battle rotation game modes. Domination, Hardpoint would have been great editions but these modes haven't been added. Game modes haven't been made independent from battle rotation A.K.A, moshpit. Mass cheetah got a buff from 5% to 6%, that's a good thing. I would like to have seen a shard card option for weapon builds.
