Matthew 16:18-19
There is no biblical or historical evidence for the claims of the Roman Catholic church that Peter was the first pope. In fact there is no evidence that there even was a pope in the first century. Even Catholic historians recognize this as a historical fact.

Furthermore, Peter was born a Jew, not a Catholic nor converted to another religion, let alone convert to “Catholicism”. Peter held on to the teaching of the Christ Jesus. Peter abided within the scriptures of as per 2 John 1:9, never deviating from the holy scriptures.

That’s to say, for argument sake, if Peter was “a Pope” and abided in the doctrine of Christ, every pope after has failed to stay with-in the doctrine of Christ; by introducing doctrine not with-inline the doctrine/teachings of Christ Jesus. Lastly, if Peter was the first Jewish Pope, as an example to future pope’s, no where did Peter state, “that man has the power to alter the Word of God.”

No where dose scripture say that “Christ Jesus appointed Peter to be a Pope,” doesn’t say it, doesn’t teach it. That teaching is from man. In Scripture, Lord Jesus says… Mark 7:7-8 “In vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men, for laying aside the commandment of God.” You hold the traditions of men as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things you do.

Scripture says: Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first. 2 Thessalonians 2-3. Scripture also teaches that many will depart from the faith and fall for fables, meaning fictional stories or ideology not found in scripture or contradicts the scriptures 2 Timothy 4:3-4

Many that profess to believe in Christ, to be Christians, to be saved, many out of that group, world wide, will fall way. Falling Away from the faith. Scripture makes it clear, it’s not an overnight thing. It’s a gradual process.

As a professing Christian, you must be aware of false doctrines (teachings), prophets, and feel good religions/teachers. To do, say, or teach anything out side of scripture, is not abiding in the teachings of Christ Jesus 2 John 1:9-. Many have fallen to fable and continue to do so.
Like in racing, we stick to the principles and techniques. You are saved by grace through faith. We must stay with in the teachings and faith of Christ Jesus and always hold on to the Truth of God. Faith along in Christ Jesus alone.

In the book of John, Lord God Jesus Christ gives us a new commandment.

I Am is the totality of God. Haya is Hebrew for I AM. I AM That I AM. Meaning, He is Self Existing. He doesn’t need anyone or anything to exists. We, are not I AM. We’re born, we live, we die. We are not Self Existing. To be “Higher Self” or Self Existing” is to say, you we’re never born and you will never die, you just made yourself to be a god and or, equal to God. That, in itself, is Idolatry. Yet, everyone wants to be a god without understanding that the created can not become the creator.

Angels, like Humans, we are created. We all have ONE Creator. look at verse 13 and 14, it answers what most are looking for, how to find and achieve a Higher Self.

Glory to God, Jesus is the Beginning and the End of all things, Jesus is the Lamb of God, Jesus is the Lion of Judah, Jesus is the King of Kings Lord of Lord, Jesus is the High Priest.
