Between PC, Console and Mobile, there are many video games and it would be unrealistic to add a subforums for each, However, I’ll be adding dedicated subforums throughout multiple groups if not all groups by taking the most popular games. Granted, popular games with in a genre die out with time and another replaces it, but it’s not the case for all game. However, for the moment, I’ve added three dedicated subforums to the FPS group: Battlefield, Call of Duty and XDefiant for you to create forum topics for discussion or debates. Other dedicated subforums will be added throughout the other community groups. You may request a dedicated subforum for a particular game and it may be added in the future or upon request.

If you don’t see a dedicated subforum for a game, just create a topic discussion by clicking on Creating New Topic. Create your topic of interest for discussion or debate. If you have your own group, dedicated subforums can be added, weather it be for your streaming channel or a particular subject upon request. For the moment, members do not have the ability to create dedicated subforums with-in there group. You may use the Support Forum in The Social Pit Group to request a subforums.

Thank You

The Social Pit is a friendly place to come, hang, create forums, topic of interest, post comments. However, when abuse takes any shape or form in The Social Pit, account suspensions will be issued. Account suspensions can last from 3 to 7 days. At which time, a suspended accounts may be lifted or prolonged. If the abuse continues after the suspension is lifted, then your account will be banned indefinitely. However, you will not be banned for expressing your opinion. Everyone is has the right to express there opinion, like it or not. Any forum with an administrator that banns anyone person for expressing the sole opinion on any matter will be perma-banned from the site. At the same time, expressing your opinion should be done politely, meaning, no f-bombs, rages, temper tantrums. If you’re going to be a dick while expressing your opinion, then yes, your ass should get banned for being a rude dick. In short, express your opinion but don’t be a dick about it.

Abusing the Report Feature
Short and simple, all you need to do is report the person once, that’s it. if you start mass reporting continuously, you’re account will be permanently suspended and any other created account thereafter.

🚨Warning🚨: Feelings hurt, differences of opinion, strong language is not a reason to report anyone, that’s why there’s a block feature!

Temporary and Permanant Account Suspension
There are two types of account suspensions, Temporary and permanent accounts suspensions. If you’re account is temporarily suspended, your suspension will be lift within X amount time. Permanent accounts suspensions are typically a life long ban on your account. Granted, it’s no secret, you can create a new account with a different username. However, keep in mind that every group, forum topic you, from replies, your friends list, private messages, chat room messages, status post, post replies and anything else you’ve done are all bound to your account that was suspended and it will not be attributed to your newly created account.

Lastly, just in the same way you can create multiple accounts, in the same manner, you multiple accounts can get suspended as well. A newly created account after a suspension, does not guarantee a safe haven.

Email Notification
Once your account suspension is lifted, you will get an automatic e-mail notifying you that your suspension is lifted. However, if you registered an account with a dummy e-mail account, oh well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Note: The above is for your information. This forum is now closed for comments and or replies

The Social Pit is the idea of people gathering together and sharing ideas, opinions via Community Groups, Community Forums. Blogs and Public Chat Rooms. We all have different likes and dislikes, differences of opinions and we discuss, debate, share. From gaming to politics, nothing is off the table.

My personal love for gaming, for example, allows me to write opinion blogs, respond to comments, contribute to forum topics or create my own. Again, this is a fantastic way to carry on a discussion between all members and all topics of interest.

The Social Pit, established back in 2009, is an independent social site with a few friends. I encourage you to come, join, check it out for yourselves. Diversity of opinion is important. The freedom to express yourself and your opinions.

Adds are active on The Social Pit, a means of revenue. However, I understand that ads are annoying and many use pop-up blockers. I get it. I use pop-up blockers myself. However, I’ve decided to use a reputable donation service called Buy Me a Coffee for donations. Always keep in mind that donations are 100% optional, always will be. All monetary gain is reinvested in The Social Pit for improvements and newly added features and security.

Below, I’ve added the Buy Me a Coffee link. Also, you will find a Buy Me a Coffee button on the bottom left hand side of the site for easy use and on the top left side of the Home Page. I personally want to thank all of you for the love and support.

Both public and group forums have the same content. The difference is, with group forums, you can join a pre-existing group or create your own group and add your very own forum to compliment your group name. You can make your group public, or private. With private groups, you can invite whom you choose and those wanting to join, would have to request a membership and the Group Admin can approve or deny any subscriptions.

Hidden groups will not show up in the group forum list unless your a member and are able to see it. Group Admins can add more than one administrator more than one moderator. Keep in mind that all Group Admins are responsible for their own group, who they choose to accept or ban from the group. Your created group can consist of any topic from politics to gaming. Lastly, you may create different groups with different titles. However, you are responsible for the groups you create!

Public forums have predetermine topics. If choose not to join or create any group, you can post sub topics based your interest. No user will be censored for expressing there thoughts and/or opinions on any topic, common sense is required! Group members may also post, reply and create sub topics in the Public Forum. If you have any questions, leave a reply below

Subscription Model vs. Ads/Donations
I have no intentions, now or in the future, of implementing a mandatory subscription model. Support for the site comes by way of ads strategically placed throughout The Social Pit. Donations, on the other hand, are optional. Donations are way to show support for the content on the site. All donations are re-invested in The Social Pit for growth and improvements. Donations are and will always be optional. The Social Pit will always be free of use for all! Registrations, Deleting your account, Posting Comments. Creating Groups Public or Private, Creating Forum Topics, Replying to Forum topics, Posting Comments on blogs, Posting on The Social Pit Activity Wall, Features such as adding, deleting, blocking users, real time chat, one on one private chat, Group chat, and any other feature are free to use provided you are a registered member of The Social Pit.

Maintenance was preform early morning on January 11th, 2024 to repair certain technical issues. Dude to the small over haul of the site, past posted link posted in the Activity section will no longer direct you to that particular forum. Any posted forum link posted after the over haul works as intended.

The problem was due to an application that was causing conflicts generating one Load button after another causing repletion and duplication of post. This should no longer be the case. Everything should function as intended. This only effected only group links. The groups itself function without any problems. If users experience options to modify any part of a user post created by a user, you must notify it at once. Any attempt to modify a users post while having no admin nor mod privileges, you will be banned from the group along with your account being suspended!
