Group Chat Disabled
After carful consideration, group chat will not longer be available. If you would like to have a group conversation, you can do it in Messages by inviting other members to create a friends group. However, Groups are categorized by genre. It makes more sense just to have different forum topics under a specific genre. For instance. the FPS group, you can have multiple people talking about Call of Duty XDefiant, CoD: Mobile, or any FPS in a forum group chat, it becomes confusing and cluttered with different types of conversation or topics outside of the FPS.
Also, you can opt to go in one of the public chat and carry on conversation as well. As well as to add member to your friends list to carry on private conversations. The main goal is to got have all groups, chatrooms organized so it can flow smoothly. However, I’m testing out new way to incorporate a group specific chat that admins can control. Once established, I’ll create a new post letting you know.
Lastly, as I’ve said before, The Social Pit will go through changes to better serve you, the member. The objective is not to compete but to give each members a smooth and enjoyable experience. Weather you’re into gaming, politics, faith, sport or anything else, there’s a group for you. Or, you can create your own group, share, discuss, debate topics you care about.
